Scope of Work:
- Install 25mm galvanized conduit
- Install fiber optic cabling within galvanized
- Install catenary wire
Challenges:
- Parking was restricted on site meaning operatives had to walk a fare distance
- No access to properties
- Supply of materials was delayed by the site manager
- Anti-social behaviour
- Parking permits taking a long duration of time to be issued
Results:
- Reduced damage to fibre cabling due to anti-social behaviour
- Visually improved rather than cables being clipped on show
- Fibre cabling has a longer life span due to protection from direct weather
- Faster broad band speed due to upgraded fibre signal cabling
