Scope of Work:
- Strip out existing halogen spotlights and dispose of
- Adjust/install new cabling
- Install new LED spotlights
- Adjust switching controls
Challenges:
- MTI hospital ward was occupied so had to work around certain rooms being in use
- A lot of debris were collected above the ceiling which we had to control with hovers and dust sheets
- The existing fittings were halogen so we had to wait for them to cool down before we could touch them
- We had to set up temporary lighting to keep areas well lit
Results:
- New clean lighting
- Reduced energy consumption
- Less heat produced from LED light fittings
- Less maintenance time spent on replacing halogen lamps
- Each area was left clean & tidy
