Scope of Work:
- Installation of a new external cupboard to relocate electrical intake from a flooded basement.
Challenges:
- Working outside with no area for material storage
- Works were carried out in the winter so concrete poor and render had to be timed correctly
- Vans at risk of being broken into due to the area
Results:
- New secure location for electrical intake
- Completely watertight, fire rated cupboard
- Cupboard large enough that has room to house future distribution if required.
- Equipment now moved from a basement that was rented by a hyde tenant, so intake is now away from tenanted area and easier for hyde to access when required
