At CB Services Group, we believe in the power of personal growth and professional development. Today, we’re thrilled to announce a significant milestone achieved by one of our own. Emily Wright, our dedicated Health and Safety Manager, has successfully completed her NEBOSH (Health and Safety Management for Construction) certification!

Breaking Barriers in Construction

In the world of electrical installation, where CB Services Group has made its mark, safety is paramount. Emily’s achievement not only enhances our commitment to safety but also showcases the incredible talent and determination of women in construction.

Emily’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. In her own words:

“Finding the time to write a post on announcing completing my NEBOSH has proven difficult with the busy life I lead being a mum, an amateur rugby player (also being on the committee!) and working. However, I decided I needed to make the time to write about it to show that us ladies have super powers and can achieve even with the weight of the world on our shoulders!”

Juggling Multiple Roles with Grace

Emily’s story resonates with many who juggle multiple responsibilities. She’s not just our Health and Safety Manager; she’s a supermum, a loving wife, a tough rugby player, and a fun friend. Her ability to excel in each of these roles while pursuing professional growth is truly commendable.

The Power of Support

Emily’s success is a testament to her hard work, but she’s quick to acknowledge the support system that made it possible:

“I couldn’t have achieved my NEBOSH without the support of these people in my life and a big thank you goes to my directors Chris and Charlie. Being a woman in construction isn’t always easy. Especially as a H&S manager! However, Chris and Charlie are supportive of me in and out the office.”

CB Services Group: Fostering a Culture of Growth

At CB Services Group, we pride ourselves on creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Emily’s achievement is a reflection of our commitment to supporting our team members, both professionally and personally. Our directors, Chris and Charlie, have fostered a culture that recognises the unique challenges faced by women in construction and provides the flexibility and support needed to overcome them.

Emily’s success has already translated into tangible improvements in our safety protocols and has earned industry recognition. Her dedication to safety and continuous learning sets a high standard for all of us at CB Services Group.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Emily’s journey is more than personal achievement; it’s about setting an example:

“To be a role model to my little girl is my number 1 priority. This for me is it. Onto the next certificate.”

Her determination proves that with the right support and mindset, women can excel in management roles in construction, even while balancing family responsibilities.

Looking Ahead

As Emily sets her sights on her next challenge, we at CB Services Group stand ready to support her and all our team members in their professional journeys. Her success is our success, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.

To Emily, we say: Congratulations on this incredible achievement! Your hard work, dedication, and resilience inspire us all.

To everyone else, we say: Let’s follow Emily’s lead. Set your goals high, work hard, and remember – with the right support, you can achieve anything.
